My dad got me interested in the markets when I was still a teenager, and that early curiosity never really left. It carried me through Indiana University, into a career in financial services that began in 2001, and eventually to a decision that defined everything that followed. What I didn't know then was that the industry I was entering would eventually push me to make a choice about what kind of advisor I actually wanted to be.

After several years at Edward Jones, I reached a point where the structure of that environment and my own standards stopped lining up. In 2006, I left to found Fletcher Investment Management Corp., because I believed then, as I do now, that the work only means something when your sole obligation is to the person sitting across from you.

The way I invest reflects how I think. My approach is grounded in long-term macro analysis, looking at economic fundamentals, monetary policy, and geopolitical factors to identify where real opportunities exist. I hold high-conviction views and stay with them when the underlying reasoning holds, rather than reacting to short-term noise. Peter Lynch's writing shaped a lot of that thinking early on, and the core of it hasn't changed. Markets are dynamic, and continuous learning isn't optional here. It's part of the job.

Day to day, my time goes toward researching markets, meeting with clients, and working through the kind of complex financial puzzles that don't have easy answers. The moments I find most rewarding are the ones where a client reaches a goal they weren't sure was within reach, or simply says thank you and means it. Those are the moments that remind me why this work is worth doing carefully.

I live in Bargersville, Indiana, with my wife and children. My family is the reason I show up every day and hold myself to a high standard. Outside the office, I spend my time working out and watching my kids compete in gymnastics, which, as any gymnastics parent can tell you, is a sport that demands patience and commitment from everyone involved.

Above all, I am a man of faith. That shapes how I approach this work and the people I do it with.
